Discernment Discernment is nothing more than to judge or perceive wisely between correct and error    1  Thess 5:21-22 tells us:    Examine everything carefully,hold fast to that which is good,abstain from every form of evil. 1John 4:1   Do not believe every spirit,but test the spirits to see whether they are from God,because many false prophets have gone out into the world. So discernment is not an option. Because christians are not well armed in judging things that are taught against bible standards,Such falseness goes out and infiltrates the church…. Again this is very import::::PICK UP YOUR BIBLES AND READ FOR YOUR SELF….IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELVES APPROVED,A WORKMAN RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF GOD.2 Tim:2:15 Otherwise christians will be tossed to and fro with every whim of doctrine.Epes 4:14The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into all truth. John 16:13 How does the Holy SPirit do this??????He leads and guides us concerning the mysteries of the Kingdom,the gospels,etc Acts 20:27Truth necessary for truth and obedience.Acts 20:21John 14:16-17,20  and Matt 28:20John 6:45Acts 8:311John 2:27 and 1John 5:6Note here that it is the Unction of the Holy Spirit or it is also called the anointing that is given for each task we are to do……or we are preserved.Isa 8:202Pet 1:19It is not enough to simply know the truth but be assured in our hearts…..Ephes 1:14 and Col 2:2We must use spiritual judgment and sense to be able to discern ,look at the evidence in the things the Holy SPirit teaches us Heb 5:14Scripture is the rule and The Holy Spirit is the guide in ALL things…….God bless and this concludes this portion..Bette  Stevens
